CJ began his career in investment banking before becoming a founding member of Affinity Equity Partners, one of the largest independent Pan-Asian private equity firms. As Managing Partner overseeing over $12 billion in assets under management, he led and executed a number of market defining investments, across multiple countries in Asia in a wide range of industries. Following his passion for working with entrepreneurs and private equity investments, CJ founded LDS Investments in 2023 to focus on high-conviction lower middle market investments alongside independent sponsors and LMM funds. CJ received a B.A. from Brown University and an MBA from Harvard Business School.
